Job Description and Skill Set Required:

- 2+ years of experience on PHP/Java based web applications and systems development.
- Strong knowledge of LAMP, Linux/UNIX based development, SQL based databases, Apache/NGinx/WebSphere & client side Javascript/jQuery.
- Play/Spring/Yii/CakePHP/CodeIgniter/Zend Framework or any other equivalent framework based web application development expertise.
- Knowledgeable on ORMs, their utility and limitations.
- Cares about design & a strong command of efficient HTML/HTML5 and CSS/CSS3, including optimization for mobile environment.
- Knowledge of web services and serialization techniques like REST, SOAP, XML & JSON.
- Knowledgeable about caching mechanisms & tools like memcache, CDNs, nginx.
- Scripting experience in using Shell/Python for creating quick technology solutions to problems.
- Prior expertise of working with AWS Cloud, CDNs and other PAAS based services.
- Hands on exposure on TCP/IP socket based programming & protocol implementation like HTTP, XMPP, etc.
- Strong penchant for Object Oriented Design.
- Experience of working with version control, bug tracking, continuous integration and other productivity enhancement software like SVN, Bugzilla, Jira etc.
