Job Description & Skill Set Required:
- The Motion Graphics Designer supports the creative, business and marketing teams in the creation of digital advertising, informational and interactive assets as needed. They have a solid knowledge of motion graphic design, photo manipulation and proficient in video editing. They are comfortable understanding brand guidelines to create visually compelling motion graphics and design as needed.
Responsibilities
- Work with business, marketing and creative leads to design custom digital advertising, promotional animations videos and social media content.
- Update and design motion graphic compositions for custom executions.
- Support the creative team on special projects as assigned.
- Work with creative team in generation of creative briefs, storyboards and planning documentation.
- Can present creative concepts to internal teams.
- Manage and prioritize projects to ensure on-time and high-quality delivery.
An ideal candidate would have:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent combination of education/training and experience).
- Experience using visual effects, design and animation software
- Advanced knowledge of Animate CC , Flash, After Effects, Premiere Pro and Photoshop
- Proficient in Adobe CC software such as Illustrator, Audition, Lightroom, Speedgrade and Media Encoder
- Basic knowledge of 3D programs like Cinema 4D or Maya.
- Background in video production or photography, a plus.
- Understanding of digital formats and delivery standards.
- Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills with the ability to communicate the “why” behind creative and development choices based on brand strategy.
- Highly self-motivated and excellent attention to details.
- Excels in a fast-paced environment and effectively manages multiple priorities.
- Exceptional problem solving skills.
- Agency or interactive experience, a plus.
